The Foundation of Astris

Genuine materials. Ethical sourcing. Uncompromising quality.

We believe that a custom design is only as good as the elements it is built from. At Astris, we reject the industry standard of using resin, dyed glass, or base metals. We return to the source: the earth itself. Every bead you select carries the weight, temperature, and energy of the natural world.

01

Grade A Natural Gemstones

At the heart of every Astris bracelet are stones that have formed over millions of years. We source our minerals globally—from the deep, celestial blues of Lapis Lazuli in Afghanistan to the iridescent, mystical glow of Moonstone in Sri Lanka.

Authenticity: We use natural, un-dyed stones. The cold touch and solid weight tell you immediately: this is real.

Uniqueness: No two beads are identical. Natural inclusions, variations in grain, and subtle color shifts are not flaws; they are the fingerprints of nature.

Vibration: For centuries, stones have been worn for their grounding and healing properties. We preserve this energy by minimizing processing.

02

Precious Metals: Vermeil & Silver

Cheap jewelry tarnishes. Astris jewelry endures. We strictly avoid brass or alloy cores that turn your skin green. Our metal system is built on two premium pillars:

Solid 925 Sterling Silver: The core of all our metal beads is pure, solid silver. It is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and safe for sensitive skin.

18k Gold Vermeil: This is not standard gold plating. "Vermeil" (pronounced ver-may) is a regulated standard requiring a thick layer of gold over silver. We use 2.5 microns of 18k Gold—which is 5x thicker than typical flash plating—ensuring a finish that looks and wears like solid gold for a fraction of the price.

03

Engineered for Longevity

A bracelet's strength lies in what you cannot see. We do not use standard crafting wire that snaps easily.

Japanese Elastic Technology: We utilize industrial-grade, multi-strand silicone elastic imported from Japan. It offers superior memory retention, meaning your bracelet stretches comfortably to fit your wrist and snaps back to its perfect shape, day after day.

Double-Strand Security: Every bracelet is hand-strung using a double-pass technique for added security and peace of mind.

04

Responsible Sourcing

Beauty should not come at a cost to the planet or its people. We work directly with trusted suppliers who adhere to ethical mining practices. By cutting out middlemen, we ensure fair wages for artisans and a transparent supply chain, delivering luxury quality directly to you without the traditional markup.

Materials & Care

Are your stones real?

Yes. Astris uses genuine, Grade A natural gemstones. We do not use plastic or glass imitations.

What is the difference between Gold Vermeil and Gold Plated?

Gold Vermeil is superior in quality. It requires a base of solid Sterling Silver (not brass) and a much thicker layer of gold (2.5 microns), making it more durable and hypoallergenic compared to standard plating.

Can I wear my bracelet in water?

While our materials are durable, we recommend removing your jewelry before swimming or showering to preserve the luster of the Gold Vermeil and the integrity of the elastic.
